    Outcast
     Hot - in no particular order.

    Crew.
    Players.
    Roleplay.
    Fiain, I started off really worried as we were smaller than the other 3 kingdoms, but we formed a really tight bond and were just awesome all weekend.
    Matt Pennington, Bill Pennington, Ali Pennington and Nick Tiernan for all their help and support with the site and bar, and for general awesomeness.
    Ciaron for six months of keen.
    IC politics.
    No OOC politics.
    Set up in the sun.
    Big roleplayed fighting.
    The standerd of kit and makeup, outstanding all round, people had obviously put a lot of time/effort/money into their kit, and each kingdom looked and felt different.
    Kids being part of the game, its the first time I've enjoyed having kids around at a event.
    Kids killing deamons in the dreaming while the adults with them were helpless.
    Luggages legs.
    The Ulidian/Bab catha appeals to the gods.
    30 or so adults sitting down and listening to kids telling stories, and just looking at Alex next to me as we were all giggling manicly.
    The Yurt.
    Friday nights plotting with Fiain and the Valkana, how to get some children.
    Asking the Hinterlands the next morning for children, and Nic adding "he promises not to eat them".
    Slipping into Christofs accent and everyone laughing, execpt for one guy we were all surrounding, then seeing how nervous he was.
    Chalkie for general roleplay fun.
    Spirit refs.
    Next event is April.

    Not

    Rain on sunday ruining my make-up, however walking though it to grab the banner from camp felt really good.
    Still being tired now.
    Still needing to unload the car.
    Next event is April.

    I'm sure theres loads I've forgotten, if you were there then all I can say is thank you, best event I've been to, ever.

    She even tells her clients at work about it.

     Just got back from Outcast. So tired. More to follow later.

    Busy busy......
     Have spent most of the weekend making armour for Outcast. Unfortunately I've run out of dark brown dye, small copper rivets and I've used all the carved plates on the front of the body already due to spacing them closer than originally planned.

    So monday I'll be urgently ordering rivets and dye, in the meantime I'll be cutting and carving more plates for the legs and back, as well as carving and lining my bracers and shoulder/upper arms.

    And I have to do all this in 8 days.

    And I have to make a banner and pole.

    Lucky I don't need to sleep in those 8 days?

    Spent the weekend with [info]clawbeast  frothing and plotting for Outcast, Maelstrom (yes I am returning in July) and LT.

    Work
     So I start my new position of "Internal Spare Parts Engineer" on Monday. I have Monday and Tuesday with the guy I'm replacing and then its just me doing it for the rest of the week. Then he's in for four days the next week and then gone.

    At the same time I'll be training my replacement who was interviewed today. He's a towel.

     As I forgot on the first post....

    The set piece and the games in general. They were awesome, everyone seamed to love it, you could see a lot of work had gone in (special mention to Mr Leon Potts for general awesomeness aswell as the other Armourers and the Jackals) and I don't think I've heard one complaint of how the games were run (apart from some IC moaning at some IC cheating in a few games)

    So yeah, thats on the hot list too.

    The usual.
     Hot

    Port in the Harts on thursday night, including breaking Sal.
    The fire show, feels like I haven't played in ages.
    Claw comp, still fun to run them.
    Playing saturday night, I miss not playing as much at the mainlines, I could do so much more with Christof if I was actually IC.
    Vampire Hunter information leaflets.
    The end of the Christof/Hades/River Styx plot, I honestly thought I wouldn't manage it.
    All the interesting conversations saturday night.
    Getting IC Sunday night with Ciaron, and promptly looking like heroes in front of the Unicorns.
    House von Beck being awesome (mostly)
    The armourers for letting me slip in OOC to do my makes as it looked like I wouldn't get IC on sunday (then later managing it)
    My reffing hat for keeping my head cool (I don't work well in the sun)
    Hearing people want to kill Christof.
    Reffing the final fight with Super Dave.
    Rath winning his copper bet.

    Not

    Plot Acc on saturday morning with a hangover.
    Plot Acc on sunday - both large PvP incidents happened on my shift, and I was running it on my own.
    Breeds, nuff said.
    The Christof/Hades/River Styx plot putting me in a really awkward position.
    Not getting the time to do any stealth encounters.
    Not getting to play with the group much.

    More to come when I remember it.

    Am bored at work, I've moved my desks around just to entertain myself.

    GEF in a few days, I'm sure I should be panicing and making something last minute for it but I can't remember anything, can't be that important.

    Apparently when I locked up on friday I was too efficient and the MD was still in his office.

    To be fair he'd come in by train so there was no sign of his motorbike or car in the car park.

    At least it shows I lock up properly.

    At least he has a sense of humor.

    I've just collected some stuff I ordered from the US.

    Cost $50.88

    Customs hit me for £5.13 VAT, fair enough the economys knacked we need to pay taxes.

    Royal mail then charge me a £8 handling charge for the privailage of giving them the VAT money.

    Bastards.

    Now I'm awake.
     Gold - in no particular order.

    Getting IC Saturday and Sunday night.
    The Ref team, especially having our resident irishman.
    Being ritualled by Boris to make me one of the cool kids.
    Being jerks at the unicorns, demanding monkey knife fights and zombie butlers.
    Being bigger jerks at the jackals.
    Strikedown.
    Beating on Weres.
    Al for being uber useful at sorting stuff.
    IC chats with Stalks, Ittimin and others at various points.
    Getting Pat drunk.
    My chat with Elthorn, him being subtle, me being Christof.
    Doing my first battlefield overview, cool but very strange.
    Hearing nice things all over the place, often unexpected.
    Hanging in the vipers on sunday night and seeing most of HvB for a meeting, even if it didn't last long.
    Firepit and T letting me go out with claws :)
    Scaring the hell out of Habib by getting so close to killing him, actually a better outcome for the encounter than if I'd succeeded.
    Feeding Ciaron grapes to make him better, in the form of port.
    The new vampire loresheet.
    The new makes system.
    Games control being really good, despite the computer problems.
    The new layout, not perfect but a nice change.
    Rain not stopping play on monday.


    Copper

    Loresheet madness.
    Ciaron still being on crutches and not able to get to the viper field.
    Sarah being ill.
    Other stuff I  don't want to go into here.
    Spending an hour and a half taking down guilds and re-packing the trailer for the guild tents. Some people hand just chucked theirs in there in no order, and on top of some big empty plastic boxes needed to put other bits in. Ended up with myself, Nuz and Ewan (one of my old mates from the Dragons who was waiting to get a lift home with Dessie the next day) having to empty it all out and repack it. Not impressed.

    Tarantula / Incantors event.
     In the age old formula....

    Hot

    Mr Mike "Firepit" Hilton and Miss Kathryn Schofield for services to plot.
    Andy T for general randomness.
    Sarah for General amazingness.
    Leon for staying up until time out both nights, and doing some awesome ritual/rite stuff.
    House C for being frothing keeners.
    Ciaron for another dose of Rael, still scary even when he's not charging round with you.
    Rites.
    Fires.
    Being given 45 mins to perform the Dracos test, and completing it in 5, including 2 mins of fixing armour.
    Training Paladins.
    Scaven, just everywhere I looked they we're running round being keen.
    Playing Lyander, I'd been bricking it since I was asked hopeing I could do a good enough job, it seemed to go pretty well and a bunch of players said thank you, cos they're nice like that.
    Safe fighting, I don't think I took a overly heavy blow and overall things looked pretty good.
    Cup of cake catering, nom nom nom.
    Actually having time to sit and roleplay with people, seems like forever since I had the chance to do that at events.
    Someone telling me OOC they were to scared to come a talk to me IC.
    Almost killing two players in the woods, I even had a ref with me.

    Ciaron's knee, hope it gets better soon mate!
